 Capt. Suhel Jain , President SWIP joined Jet Airways in December 1992 with a CPL as a Trainee First Officer. He flew the B737/300/400 as a First Officer and got his command in 1997.He achieved his trainer status in 2000 on B737 Classic / NG and became an Examiner in June 2006. In January 2007 he started his B777 ground training, followed by line training with Air New Zealand. He is currently an Instructor (T.R.I) on the B777/300ER. He had over 10,000 hours on the 737 before flying 777. He was the Vice President-SWIP from July 2005 to July 2007 and President-SWIP from July 2007 to July 2009. | |

    I did my schooling from Maneckji Cooper Mumbai. Did my flight training from MPFC Indore and completed my CPL  with a multiengine endorsement from Wisconsin USA.I was employed as a flight instructor when i was 19 years old with Ahmedabad Aviation Academy where i served for 3 years. Joined Jet Airways in 1999 as F/O on B737 and am currently a check pilot with 8700 hrs total time. I have worked in the SWIP committee for 1 term before and was actively involved in the career progression of all national pilots. | |

 Capt. Sam Thomas born in November 28, 1970, graduated from Christ College Bangalore in 1992.Commercial pilot licence from Tyler Internation School of Aviation, Tyler Texas, USA. Certified flight intructor FAA on single and multi engine airplanes from AER MISTRAL INC Forth Worth TEXAS USA. Presently flying the Boeing 737 as Senior Commander with 5000 hrs on type. Currently pursuing an MBA in HR. Actively working in the SWIP committee from NOV 2006. | |

 Capt. Sumit Mehta, has done his schooling from Mumbai at Maneckji Cooper Educational Trust institute. During his school days was involved in various extra curricular activities, especially performing arts such as singing and drama. Was also part of the volleyball and athletics team, though never made it to any finals!Coming from an aviation background was always keen to pursue a career in aviation. Therefore, instead of taking his fathers advice to complete his higher education, he proceeded to the U.S. to get a commercial pilot license. On his return from flying training was without a job for about a year, which, during that period was really ,not that long a wait. Being a resident of Bombay and having an aviation background helped him secure a job with Jet Airways in 1998. Since then has been a proud part of this esteemed airline and is currently flying as a Captain on the B737-N.G. fleet with close to 7000 total flying hours. Fortunately he has a small life outside of aviation where he takes delight in watching World Cinema and Bollywood films, listening to any genre of music that sounds good and finally reading and applying Buddhist Philosophy and Meditation to enrich his daily experience of life and aspires to make others unconditionally happy. | |

 "I started my career as a Management Trainee with the Welcomgroup chain of hotels, a subsidiary of ITC Ltd. Here we got intensive training for 18 months on the finer points of managment combined with on-the-job training to apply what we had learnt. Upon successful completion of the course worked as a Manager, Food and Beverage Services for about 2 yrs. Took up flying comparatively late, about when I was 26 yrs old. The entire basic CPL + Multi + FAA CFI was done at Lubbock, Texas. Thereafter it took about 4 yrs before I landed a job at Span Aviation (M) Ltd, flying B200s out of Pune. After about a yr the company closed down. Did some freelance work in computers (web designing and project managment) as flying jobs were hard to come by. Finally joined Jet Airways (officially) on 2nd Dec 2002 and have been here ever since. Am currently a captain on B737 fleet." | |
